Suspense over the cross-border ‘love story’ of an individual and her Indian partner deepened amidst claims of her kin’s involvement with the military forces in Pakistan.
The two individuals gained attention when the person in question, accompanied by her four children, illegally entered India to reunite with her partner. The UP Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) conducted consecutive days of interrogation, yet certain questions regarding her motives for unlawfully entering India remained unanswered. Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials were also present during the questioning.
While the UP ATS and senior police officers declined to disclose specific details due to national security concerns, reliable sources shared some information related to the investigation.
According to sources, the IB requested a report from the Sashastra Seema Bal, the central armed police force responsible for guarding the porous India-Nepal border in the regions of UP and Bihar, regarding the individual’s undetected entry into Indian territory. Previously, she had informed the Gautam Buddh Nagar police that she crossed into India from the Nepal border via Bihar’s Sitamani earlier this month.
